CHILDREN OF GAZA FUNDRAISING EVENT

About the Event

Join Hamza Choudhury and Nujum Sports for a special afternoon bringing footballers, sporting personalities, supporters, and our charity partner Children Not Numbers.

Hear from Hamza and special guests, enjoy light refreshments, and take part in an exclusive charity auction featuring signed shirts, medals, and sporting memorabilia donated by athletes and other sporting personalities.

An afternoon with Hamza and special guests

This relaxed community event will bring people together through football and faith.

Guests will hear directly from Hamza Choudhury and other sporting personalities about their commitment to the children of Gaza and how we can all amplify their voices. The afternoon will also provide an opportunity to reflect on the ongoing crisis facing children in Gaza and to raise funds for projects supporting them.

Exclusive charity auction

Guests will be able to bid on sporting memorabilia donated by Hamza and other athletes.

Auction items will include:

  • Signed shirts from Hamza Choudhury
  • Signed shirts from other Muslim athletes
  • Medals and sporting memorabilia
  • Exclusive items donated by footballers and sporting personalities

Every contribution matters

All funds raised through ticket sales and the charity auction will be donated to CNN, our charity partner, to support its work and projects helping children in Gaza.

About Children Not Numbers

(CNN) Children Not Numbers (CNN) was founded by two Muslim mothers and lawyers, Sarah Ben-Tarifite and Somaya Ouazzani, from London and Hertfordshire, who were driven by the urgent need to support Palestinian children caught up in the midst of an unprecedented conflict.
CNN is a non-profit NGO and charity dedicated to supporting children in Gaza through a holistic model of care that includes medical treatment, rehabilitation, education, and psychosocial support. Our diverse, multidisciplinary team – comprising teachers, mental health professionals, social workers, lawyers, doctors and global volunteers – works across Gaza and Egypt to deliver timely, life-changing interventions for children affected by conflict.
We believe that every child deserves dignity, healing, and the chance to rebuild their future. Through direct, on-the-ground programmes in conflict zones, CNN is committed to restoring hope, health, and resilience to children and their families.
