Events terms

These terms apply to ticketed Nujum Sports / Children of Gaza fundraising events, including the Hamza Choudhury fundraiser on Sunday 25 October 2026 at Tower Hamlets Town Hall, London E1 1BJ, and to future ticketed events run under this campaign.

1. Booking and payment

Tickets for our events are sold through our ticketing partner, Ticket Tailor, embedded on our event pages. Ticket Tailor processes your booking and payment on our behalf, as our data processor. By booking a ticket, you also agree to Ticket Tailor’s own terms of use.

2. Price and where your money goes

The price of your ticket is shown at the time of booking. Nujum Sports CIC is a Community Interest Company, not a registered charity. Nujum Sports CIC organises this event and collects ticket proceeds through Ticket Tailor. After deducting reasonable, disclosed event costs, such as venue hire and ticketing fees, Nujum Sports CIC pays the net proceeds to Children Not Numbers, our registered charity partner for this event (Children Not Numbers International Ltd, charity number 1213857), who receive, hold, and administer the funds raised. The amount or proportion of your ticket price that will reach the charity is stated on this event’s booking page. Once proceeds have been paid to Children Not Numbers, Nujum Sports CIC does not hold, control, or administer them. Any question or complaint about the funds raised, or how they are used, should go to Children Not Numbers directly, and not to Nujum Sports CIC.

3. Cancellations and refunds

Because this is a ticket to a leisure event taking place on a specific date, the standard 14-day right to cancel a distance purchase, under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, does not apply. Tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable once booked, except where required by law. If we need to cancel or postpone the event, ticket holders will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer their ticket to the rescheduled date.

4. Charity auction

Where an event includes a charity auction, Nujum Sports CIC sells the lots on the night on the same basis described in clause 2: the winning bid forms part of the event proceeds, and net proceeds after event costs are passed to Children Not Numbers, our registered charity partner for this event. Lots are described in good faith, and we do not guarantee the condition or value of an item beyond its description. There are no returns except as required by law. Bidder data is handled as set out in our privacy policy.

5. Conduct at the event

We may refuse entry to, or ask to leave, anyone whose conduct is disruptive, dangerous, or otherwise unacceptable, without a refund.

6. Photography and filming

We may photograph and film our events for use in our own marketing, reporting, and Stories content. We do this on the basis of our legitimate interest in promoting our events and campaigns. If you attend, you may be included in general photographs or footage of the event. If you do not want to appear, tell a member of staff on the day and we will do our reasonable best to avoid or remove you from published images, though we cannot guarantee removal from images already shared or printed by the time you tell us.

We will not publish an identifiable photograph or video of a child, meaning anyone under 18, taken at our event, without the prior written consent of a parent or guardian, obtained separately from general event photography and before publication. This is the same standard used for our Stories page; see clause 9 of our privacy policy.

7. Liability

We take reasonable care for the safety of people attending our events, but nothing in these terms excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

8. If the event has to change

If circumstances outside our control mean the event has to be changed, postponed, or cancelled, we will let ticket holders know as soon as we reasonably can.

9. Your data

See our privacy policy for how we handle the personal data of ticket buyers, attendees, and auction bidders.

10. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. For any query about an event, contact us at info@nujumsports.co.uk.
