ANWAR EL GHAZI, SAM MORSY, HAMZA CHOUDHURY & MOEEN ALI

In June 2025, Children of Gaza brought four prominent Muslim sportsmen together at Conway Hall in London. Footballers Anwar El Ghazi, Sam Morsy and Hamza Choudhury were joined by England cricketer Moeen Ali for an evening discussing their sporting careers, personal experiences and reflections on Gaza.

The format gave the athletes more time than a conventional media interview normally allows. All four appeared together on stage, with members of the audience also able to submit questions.
